Väylä provides the technical service and processes restaurant customer data on behalf of the controller according to its instructions.

We process the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, reservation time, party size, preferences and messages. Technical security logs may also be processed.

• Managing reservations, visits and customer service.
• Delivering requested services and communicating changes.
• Preventing misuse, securing the service and meeting legal obligations.

Processing is based on the contract or steps taken at your request before a contract, the controller’s legitimate interests, consent where requested, and statutory obligations.

Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and applicable obligations. The restaurant defines retention periods and removes or anonymises data when it is no longer needed.

Data may be processed by service providers needed to operate the service, including Väylä and its hosting, database and communications providers. Access is limited to what is necessary. Safeguards required by data protection law are used for transfers outside the EEA.

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing and, where applicable, request data portability or withdraw consent. Contact tietosuoja@kulmankuppila.test. You may also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
